Moving house is easier when it is «broken down» into small steps. The checklist below is made for Greece (apartment buildings, elevators, alleys, parking, family schedule) and can be adapted whether you are moving to the neighborhood or to another city.
8-week timeline (before moving in)
8-6 weeks before
- Book a date/time and request a written quote with everything included (staff, vehicle, materials, lifting equipment where needed).
- Take an initial inventory: what is being carried, what is being given away, what needs special packaging (e.g. TVs, mirrors, musical instruments).

- Start packing what you don't use every day (storage, seasonal items, books).

The day of the move (stress-free steps)
- Keep valuables/fragile and anything you don't want to be accidentally loaded accessible.
- Do a quick check of the premises before the truck leaves (cupboards, loft, balcony).

After the move (the first 48 hours)
